The cycle of birth and death is an on-going process that happens on planet Earth, bringing the required change and transformation into our lives. Without life, there can be no death and vice versa.
Death is not a parting but a shift in space and time for the soul is eternal – all that is relinquished is the body, which can crudely be deemed as the soul’s outfit or clothing. Thus, we live, die and reincarnate at every wake of consciousness, applying the wisdom of our awakening from one space to another.
We are here to embark on a miraculous journey of finding ourselves with the aid of our physical bodies that we may experience the calling of our Souls from deep within. Wherever our calling takes us, there, the purpose of our human birth unfolds.
In finding the purpose of our Soul, we often neglect the very essence of our Soul’s intention – the very spirit that eggs us to thriving, yearning and desiring worthiness within ourselves that, we continue to persevere relentlessly even when we are beaten to the bone.
A Soul upon taking birth, carries with it the karmas of the past which are lodged as impressions on the Soul. As long as there is unresolved karma, the Soul continues the cycle of birth and death, reincarnating in every cycle of birth in appropriate bodies until its karmas are fully exhausted. The Soul then becomes an active participant, selecting its life, family and environments with the goal of experiencing and exhausting its karma during its lifetime in the body. However, once in the material and physical world, our earth plane consciousness forgets our Soul’s intent and accordingly, the choices we make in our physical bodies create more karmas, propelling the never-ending cycle of birth, death and rebirth.
Charting our Soul’s intention is to connect us to discovering our highest state of Being and finding our lives’ purpose, resolutely. It is solely about discovering that we are plotting a human experience against the backdrop of divine footprints. In short, we are the embodiment of all that is divine or to put it aptly, the entire universe encapsulated within this tangible matrix of energy, known as the body.
We were created in equal reflection of everything we held ‘divine,’ capable of creating, nurturing, sustaining, preserving and most important of all, loving and forgiving unconditionally – the kind that can scale the highest mountains or dive into the deepest abyss, for the sheer purpose of living authentically: to be heard, to be seen and to be valued.
Yet, we are afraid to love. We become so guarded with our heart and our emotions that we feel no one deserves us, let alone ourselves. We hide away from our truth and present an image of ourselves to the world, which is alien even to us and yet, we hope to be recognised or acknowledged for the person we are.
The Soul becomes burdened by our daily inferences of how we see and react to the world. The more we relinquish old karmic debts, the more space we make to acquire good ones – I speak only about bad karmas here for karma can be good too. The more good you do, the more you accumulate good karma, like a bank deposit that can be cashed out as your biggest win, when you are ready to reap the labour of your love.
There are 5 aspects of our Soul’s blueprint and they are:
-
TO BE FREE FROM DESIRE.
Desires are described as a sense of yearning or wanting for an object, person or consequence. As long as there is the desire for external gratification or material gains to fuel our egos continue, the Soul will relive the bondage of the body, depending on its incarnate, in every birth.
-
TO BE DETACHED.
The Soul’s blueprint is to stay detached, disengaging from the involvement and the thought patterns of the body, that it is free from the stresses and strains that is imposed upon it, when human beings participate with their egos in the course of their lifetime.
Being detached doesn’t mean that you don’t care, but you allow for what needs to take place, without reacting to the outcome. Being detached is akin to staying in your power and guarding it fiercely.
-
TO LOVE AND TO FORGIVE UNCONDITIONALLY.
The language of our Soul is forgiveness, compassion, empathy and unconditional love – it does not know how to exist in any other way.
Be your love, so that you can gift your compassion.
-
TO BE FREE FROM THE BONDAGE OF KARMA.
Everything in our life is in accordance to the Laws of Karma – the law of action and consequence. Every action brings within it the seed of consequences. Where you are in your life right now, is the collective consequence of all your Karmas. Although it may seem that one cannot escape the Laws of Karma, it is possible to surpass this supposedly never-ending cycle.
-
TO LIVE IN DIVINITY
The Soul’s ultimate state of bliss is its being-ness – a state of harmony, existing outside the ‘doing,’ plane. It manifests itself through prayer, meditation and silence; yearning to fulfill its fullest potential in every opportunity it receives. So, pray more. Meditate more and unleash your Soul.
As divine Beings living a human experience, you are not too small or too insignificant in the grand scheme of things. You have been sent here to fulfill your unfinished business, of discovering you, of not second guessing yourself, of knowing your latent power, of seeing your potential, of trusting you completely and of loving you unconditionally – take the leap of faith and live like there’s no tomorrow…
May you find YOU!
