Sri Aurobindo said, ‘Mind, life, body, all the forms of our nature are the means of this growth, but they find their last perfection only by opening out to something beyond them; first, because they are not the whole of what man is, and secondly, because that other something which he is, is the key of his completeness and brings a light which discovers to him the whole high and large reality of his being.’
The path of spiritual evolution is marked by different phases, breakthroughs, deviations and stagnations, falls, imprisonments and progressive liberations. Even the man who has testified the important improvements on the path of spiritual realization and is sincere in his intention to evolve, is still bound to make mistakes and therefore is subject to karmic consequences due to the remaining unsolved conditionings.
However it is at the time of crisis that a person needs our affection more than ever, needs our help through comprehension and forgiveness in order to try once again and overcome the limits, that had been structured in the numerous past lives. As I have been observing for decades, the person meets a lot of difficulties along the path of evolution, and is rare that one proceeds steadily and coherently, rather everyone makes steps backwards and forwards according to one’s peculiar characteristics: the individuals most advanced in the inner growth are those who make more steps forwards than backwards.
Through their walking towards spiritual love and perfection all these souls in the prakriti world need encouragement, most of all when they are in the process of rolling back. Sincere help received at the most crucial moments of life is the best call in order to carry on along the right path. Since the inception of the formation of this earth, there were a number of faiths which originated at intermittent periods. People irrespective of their race, religion, colour, language, etc., had one common aspect in their culture of praying to God. Prayer is after all, the sacred way for people to reach out to God.
The use of language as communication link and the manner in which places were named in the ancient period determined the age of worship of God by the people – one of which was the worship of Lord Ganesh. Divinity is expressed in terms of symbols by the ancient sages, as symbols can remain forever than words. Divinity in one of the “Tithi,” or “Constellations.”
Ganesha Chathurthi is expressed in terms of symbols and associated historic tales and a majority of these are celebrated as festivals for everyone irrespective of any discrimination whatsoever and is the force of promoting unity among the people and even change the hearts of rulers. Here is that Mantra of this time, of Nature, of Lord Ganesha along with metaphysical transliteration of nature in language and action.
