We are in an era where the majority of women all over the world have come to recognising and accepting that their battles for gender equality lies resolutely in the balancing of the feminine and masculine aspects within themselves.
It is imperative to choose speaking in terms of feminineness rather than of womanhood. Every individual bears both divergences of the femininity and masculinity; thus, the ideals of femininity do not entirely belong to the female gender, in the same way that the values of masculinity do not belong only to the men. Both rudiments encompass significant pillars of human creation.
The Divine Feminine epitomizes the supreme level of feminine mien and manifestation in the universe. She encompasses the best of the feminine in all its degree. She exists in all faiths and traditions and has been since the beginning of time. She is mystical, magical, powerful, sacred and part of all that exists, will exist and has ever existed. She signifies balance and curing, renewal and restoration, intuition and creativity, love and compassion. She is the complement to the Divine Masculine and together, they keep the universe in balance.
Awakening the divine feminine is the homecoming to balance and synchronicity. It is the Goddess energies within all souls returning to the flow of the collective unconscious. She is the Goddess, the Priestess, the Creator in each of us, trapped in the illusion of time waiting to reawaken through the evolution of our higher light.
Without honouring the divine feminine in our lives, we feel imperfect and perpetually discontented, pursuing pathways that are damaging to the planet and toxic to the ones we love. However, cultivating only the divine feminine can leave us imbalanced and incomplete, which can eventually lead us into pandemonium resulting in self-sabotage, emotionally volatile paths that leave us victimised to any emotional impulse we have and open to any hostile whim of others. Hence, we need to balance the Shiva and the Shakti within us. This is when the Warrior Goddess comes to play.
The Warrior Goddess is a sanctified combination of the masculine and the feminine. She is a sacred balance of strength, iron-willed resolve and valour, as well as accessibility, piousness and tenderness. Both Yin and Yang are held in balance within Her and are therefore, an unfathomable sense of completeness, confidence and bliss is felt.
Whatever your religious beliefs or choice of traditions, the Divine Feminine energy exists within it. To have reverence for the Goddess does not denounce your religious beliefs whatsoever, rather, it completes the wholesomeness of your faith and brings you back to a state of balance and synchronicity.
